Original Prayer

Jesus i know that you are Lord and you can heal me from this addiction. I know that you died on the cross for my sin and that you defeated death, so Lord you can defeat this! Please Jesus fill me with your Spirit so i can learn self control, please please Jesus help to me stop this addiction and to draw closer to you. Please free me from the guilt i feel whenever i sin. Jesus, i am so desperate to end this addiction, i beg that you will show me a way out and help me walk the right path. Jesus i feel i am walking in darkness but i want to be in the light where you are. I can see the devil is fooling me, he is like a prowling lion waiting to pounce whenever i am weak. Lord may you build up my defences, give me your armour to fight against his attacks, give me the strength to defeat this ugly sin. Help me to know your peace always and draw ever closer to you. I love you Jesus and i thank you so much that you died for me and have offered me freedom from sin. Help me to remember this everyday so i can know that God loves me and that i am blameless in His sight because of you. Lord praise you, you are mightier than anything on earth! In your name i pray, Amen

Precious child of God..... God bless you for the open heart you have shown. Father of creation... The God that is merciful and glorious. The God whom sent flesh to die for all flesh. Father you deliver ALWAYS and Father I and every believer whom adds a response touches in agreement for your deliverance to manifest itself. In your name Lord Jesus We pray (and all the saints said AMEN and AMEN) Naomi, Can I suggest scouring the net (google lol :-) for a talk given by Joshua Harris.. called A Custom Plan For Fighting Lust.. what he says is so powerful. Many people have had the same cravings of the flesh (I include myself in that category) but know this every time your flesh cries for sexual pleasure its an opportunity to seek God. I pray you find Joshuas talk cause he puts sexual cravings into such a fantastic perspective.. May his peace be on you now and forever more...... in the mighty name of JESUS!!!!!

Bless you Naomi for your honesty and your desire to be free, like many brothers and sisters in Christ who seek God's help to free them from these addictions, know that he hears your prayers and that like any addiction it sometimes takes time, your addiction is real and is no easier to break than smoking, herion or gambling, but as well as praying I urge you to resolve in your own mind the fact that you don't need this addiction, that it really doesnt have the hold over you it feels like it has, I pray that God will open your eyes to this and that eventually you will be able to laugh at these attacks when they come, the devil seeks to devour purity and often uses lust as his means, you Naomi are the precious daughter of a King, these attacks need have no hold over you, your Father in heaven is the creator of all, He is all powerful and He is pure, He loves you so very much and it is his desire that you be free from this addiction. Father God I lift Naomi to you bless her Lord as she struggles with her addiction and lust, Father release her from this in your mighty name Lord Jesus, let he know true freedom, pure freedom, give her the strength to resist these urges, give her the confidence and the understanding to know that in you she can be at last free, bless her Father God and all those caught in lustful addictions, I again pray in the name of Jesus that this hold over her life be broken, release her Lord God that she might be a beautiful and shining beacon of your love, let her know the real meaning of true love and let your awesome Holy spirit wash over her again and again until she truly knows the power and depth of you love and your power, grant her the ability to know the depth of your love for her and again Lord let her know that in you Father God she truly is as pure as driven snow. Your Children more that at any time I feel need to know the releasing power of you presence, pour this out upon Naomi, Jon, Richard and all the brothers and sisters struggling with addictions and lust. I ask all this in your beautiful and awesome name Lord Jesus Our Lord and Our Saviour Amen
