Original Prayer

My heart is being torn to shreds and my life is in darkness. Your love oh Lord has been the one sustaining light and yet I am struggling to keep hold of you. Everything is going wrong for me and nothing makes any sense to me any more. I don't want to lose you lord, I cry from the wilderness and beg you to take my hand and guide me back to the path of love. Take away the hate and the hurting and the feelings of uselessness. I ask anyone who reads this if they would do me the kindest thing anyone can do and pray for me. Just to give me the confidence to kneel before God and ask of his help and love. Amen

Hi Lee, Today I saw your prayer, oh dear, I had the same feeling not to long ago. Then I heard a song by Jullie Miller it's called Broken Things the first phrase goes like this You can have my heart but it isn't new it's been used and broken and only coms in blue it's been down a long road and it got durty underway will you make it clean and wash the shame away I hope this song will do the same for you as it did for me if you want the text of the whole song plaese sent me an E-mail Pete The Neterlands

When God sent His son for us, the agony of the cross wasn't all he went through. He was betrayed, beaten, shunned by his on, tempted, and he walked through the wilderness. He is the only one who can truthfully say "I know what you're going through". But here is the victory, he walked out the wilderness, he arose from the grave, and He is the only REAL truth. Satan only has the power we let him have and deceit is his strenth. Don't let Satan fool you, God and His Son ARE the power, the only thing that makes sense. You are so precious to Him, you are HIs child, and He loves you.

I can really relate to how you are feeling and where you are at the moment. But things will not always be like this. The Lord is so good to us - He will never leave us, never forsake us, will ALWAYS answer our prayers(although not in the way we expect or when we expect)and He loves us beyond our comprehension. I can testify to His faithfulness in such circumstances as He has brought me through the loneliest and lowest points of my life so far, which I thought would never end, and He has blessed me so richly where I thought it would never happen. So, my friend, please, please, please be encouraged and comforted because " the Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving towards all that He has made." Trust in Him - the Lord WILL answer.

Your prayer was so lovely, it moved me and touched me, and i know it did for God also, u know u are finding life hard and your crying out to the the right source, your father in heaven, your prayer was from the bottom of ur heart and u seem to be feeling like rock bottom, but ur prayer is a blessing to others who know how difficult life is and can relate to you, some people cant pray what you did, though u may think u have done much your crying to God encouraged me, humbled me and i just knoe when i see a prayer like that, that thats what must make god pleased (that we cry unto him) and will reach out for u in your need God bless you and i say this to myself Lord break my pride and make me fall on my knees to talk to you and grow in our relationship this i know u tell me is good and important, i love you and trust u thanks for hearing and answering my poor cry, glorify your son my saviour jesus in all the earth in His precious name Amen
