Original Prayer

I Wish to pray for all families whose young people have been encouraged into taking drugs, and causing huge difficulties for their families. My own son (15), a Christian, has gone down this dark road, causing us loads of grief and upsets as he continues on a downward spiral. We need God's strength to see us through this difficult time, and pray that God will shine through this and reveal himself to our son, before he gets into even more harm. He denounced God recently, but we know that God has not finished with him yet, and that all things (however upsetting) have a purpose. I pray that God will shine through all that is going on at present, and that we will all be stronger in faith.

Jon, I really want to encourage you and pray for you. I am seventeen years old and both myself and my older brother went through attacks from the devil where we both got into drugs and both suffered addictions to smoking. I have completely come out of it and my life is completely commited to my Lord, my brother has recently come back to Christ aswell and he is in the process of getting clean, I praise God for that! I know that God has a heart for your son and i beleive that his love never fails, i know i hurt my parents and that they spent many hours in prayer over my life, i want to encourage you never to give up! The constant unconditional unfailing love that my parents have shown to me was the best example of Jesus' love for me, and i couldnt have made it without them! Father i pray for your power in this situation, i pray for your peace in Jon and for your grace in his son's. Lord i pray that you will work miracles in this young mans life and that you will, by your grace, draw him back into a loving relationship with you. I pray that you will bless him richly and i pray that you will use him powerfully in the future to pray for and strengthen other ppl who are goin through the same things as he has. I pray that you will give him a passion for your name and that you will intervene in this situatoin for your glory. Come Lord Jesus and send your salvation, i beg you! I ask it in Jesus name and by his power on the cross, Amen.

Lord we thank you for your goodness, we praise you through all that we go through, we do not look at the circumstances but we look to you for your help Lord, father i pray for this family Lord, i pray for their son, Lord your word say that when 2 or 3 are gathered in your name you are there among us, Lord i believe that you are here with us, and we know you know the cry of the hearts of this family, Lord we thank you that your grace and mercies are new everyday and that you hand is never too short to save, lord you have heard the cry of this family and we stand on your word lord that you are going to do a mighty work not only with their son but with the whole family, Lord i pray that you will make their son miserable until he comes to the saving knowledge of your Lord jesus, Lord i pray for the family lord that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength and they will soar like eagles...lord i pray that as this family continues to look to you, continue to seek your face, your ways that you will strengthen their bones, spirits...lord just like when aaron helped lift moses arms up that the enemy was defeated....so we lift up the arms of this father in the name of Jesus in prayer, lord have your way!!!! in jesus name Amen...
