prayer for peace and faith

I prayer that Lord will continue to guide me that I may my way to him, I pray for His peace and that He may strengthen my faith in Him. I pray that 2008 will be a better,brighter, happier and that bigger thing may happen in my life. I want to continue to thank him for his blessings and that I may have the courage to deal with all the ungodly, selfish persons that may surrond me at this time, for those person who you confide in and they let you down, I pray that the father will give me the strength of forgiveness. These and other mercies I ask in His name through His son Jesus Christ. Amen

Lord, i thank you for giving me people like A and his girlfriend C, so i can witness to them. i pray for A right now, he is really seeking answers to the questions which are holding him back from accepting Jesus. Help me and Jason to know what to say to help him and show him your love. Amen

thank you god for the Deluge event at NFI Grace church in Stoke last night, and that many people came and had a good time. i thank you that my non-Christian friends came from Uni, and that they are going to our church guest service on sunday. Amen.

Almighty God, thank you for the promise I have, through your son Jesus Christ Our Lord, that all my transgressions (and there have been many) are forgiven. I know I am not worthy to receive your wonderous grace and mercy and it never ceases to amaze me that my sins are never beyond forgiveness. Praise the Lord. Amen

thank you lord that you have shown me that i do not need to be afraid anymore of those who have hurt me in the past, particularly this one guy who i have felt very intimidated by. Lord, a word was given last night at my community group about how my fear is just an illusion- i cannot be hurt by him anymore. Help me to remember this. thank you that you care about this situation and that you understand.

Thank you God for T being promoted at work. she has been in the job a while and is a good worker. she has a visual impairment, and has been through much to get to where she is now. Lord you promised our church that this would be a season of promotion. i thank you that the school M is working at has not only been removed from Special Measures, but has been upgraded to 2 levels above special measures. (apparently this rarely happens in schools). Thank you also for I, D, J who serve in our worship team have been asked to sing Christmas songs at a large public event in our city. Amen
