Comment:	When I was at Uni in the 80s our CU was NOT affiliated to the SU so as not be bound by their policies. Not being in the SU did not mean banking, advertising etc probs, tho. I respect those that are fighting this battle, but is the right battle? Having said that, our CU prevented our SU from affiliating to the National Abortion Campaign. That also took a campus referendum, which "we" won by an overwhelming majority on the basis that the SU, in representing the whole student body, should not affiliate to strongly single interest groups. And what is a CU?
