As someone who was at the recording of this CD, I can personally attest to how great this event was in the huge tent in southport where this event took place. It was a fantastic night and the atmosphere was incredible. That being said, John Hebdon does have a point about the selection of songs used in this recording. Minus track 6 (beautiful one/forever), which was actually recorded at a different point in the weekend, not in the main praise party, the most modern song done was send the fire, and to be honest i got a bit annoyed at the lack of 'modern' tunes, but i guess thats down to my age (i was 20 at the time). However, when I got the CD, it quickly grew on me, and the selection of songs didn't bother me anymore. If it had been up to me i would have injected a few more modern tunes in there to keep things fresh, but i cannot recommend this CD more. don't put the coice of 'traditional' tunes down to some sort of salvation army mentality, we're not as old-fashioned as you may think!!
