Comment:	I have this 12 track cd by Debby; even tho' I think it falls somewhat short of title "Greatest Inspirational Songs". Released in early April of 2001, this set of songs takes us back to the beginning; when she had a big 70's hit with starter song "YOU Light Up My Life". She had a #1 ccm hit with the 1987 "The Name Above All Names";ccm vet Chuck Girard wrote quite a masterpiece! I love the 1980 "With My Song"; "Can YOU Reach My Friend" a song from the 1983 album "Surrender" is superb!:a classic in the ccm history halls: her big hit from that same lp "O Come All Ye Faithful" missed this set; so wonderfully composed by the late great Rich Mullins. "The Time Is Now" from 1984 is another top fave. Debby's version of "Be Ye Glad" has music added verses acappella version by group Glad: both are nicely recorded, but I must admit I love Glad's version. Her vocals for the 5 minute "Wounded Soldier" are beautifully done: The writers for the song Reba Rambo & Dony McGuire provide bgvs the same. Her cover version of Gary Chapman's "Sincerely YOURS" was the perfect closer: wtg Debby, you did such a great job with the song! I also missed seeing the top ccm duet with top trumpet player Phil Driscoll, "Keep the Flame Burning". MANY THANKS TO CROSSRHYTHMS STAFF! They really do a fantastic job with these artists lists!
