Article Title: Creationism In Schools Isn't Science - Part 1

Comment: Rebecca wrote "Some scientists claim that the Intelligent Design theory explains creation." It would be more correct to say "A very very few scientists claim that the Intelligent Design theory explains creation." There are probably more scientists that believe in flying saucers than there are scientists that believe in intelligent design creationism. The Dishonesty Institute, er, the Discovery Institute has published a list of just over 800 "scientists who dissent from Darwinism" - about one-tenth of one per cent of scientists disagree with evolution and therefore support creationism. That is simply insignificant. Answers In Genesis pushes a literal interpretation of Genesis, but is silent about the Epic of Gilgamesh from which parts of Genesis were copied. Honest creationists must admit that their creation mythos is not unique, but was accreted from earlier creation mythologies from pre-scientific cultures. These ancient mythologies have no place in 21st century science classrooms.
