Once again, Bill, Gloria & Gary present us with another wonderful collection of songs for the start of the 80's era. The album title is from the amazing song written by the talented huband & wife team of Dony McGuire & Reba Rambo; i.e. "A Perfect Heart": Heaven sent is how I describe this song. Awesome piano playing Dony McGuire sang lead on the recording for the "Rambo Reunion" released prior to this album (same year): Bill is heard on the lead for the trio's recording with the added talent Dony on piano. The Sandi Patti singers were recruited for bgvs for the lp. The song "Sanctus" is recorded so beautifully. I can't remember all the times I have sung "Majesty" at church; what an awesome written and recorded song. The trio also does a swell cover of top ccm artist, Michael Card's "I Have Decided" ( I love Michael's music). Michael W. Smith who was relatively unknown in ccm at this time lends his musical talents for the writing of "Right Place, Right Time" & "Resurrection"along with Bill & Gloria. John Darnall does an excellent harmonica on "Right Place, Right Time"; too bad Michael W. Smith's piano playing talents are not heard on either of the compostions. CCM songstress Sandi Patti is guest vocalist for the wonderful "GOD Hath Provided A Lamb"; Linda Almond wrote a masterpiece!: Gloria's recitation is splended as only it could be. Gloria's "I Then Shall Live" has a familiar tune; same as ancient hymn, "Be Still My Soul" (aka Finlandia). I love the album cover design, blue ocean photo with the trio's pic outlined in shining silver; the lettering for the title is just right. GOD Bless!-Don
