Firstly everyone must recognize that their is a law on noise pollution and it is for a reason, it is not for one set of people it is for everyone, so no one can say it does not apply to me, is it not good for you or i to know that you can go home from work to have good rest? i am surprise at the comment of the barrister who should know better, all the comments that a muslin complaint is being upheld are just trying to make a religious propaganda, the complaint was not upheld because it came from a muslin, it was upheld based on contravention of a statutory legislation, most of us Africans failed to realize that most of what is done back home are illegal here. how is it ok? to work hard you pay your taxes mortgage etc and yet you are not able to have peace in your own home , it is your right to leave in peace in your home. most of these preacher scream and shout into the mic which is already amplified and it goes on to late night they call it night vigil, i have personally experience it, back home in Nigeria my 94 year old dad was ill there is a church next to our house they make so much noise that he was not able to sleep even with medication, i spoke to the 'pastor' on phone to tone down the noise but met with arrogance so in the end dad died with heart failure, the doctor said lack of sleep was a contributing factor. when i went to Nigeria last year with my kids for the burial the same thing happened we could not sleep, i called police , when to Alausa to lodge complain at 4 different gov agencies nothing happened no reply , i even sent a copy to the Governor yet again nothing happened. it an ironic, is not? that we who proclaim to be righteous are the worst, they do not recognize that everyone has right to live in peace in their own home whether muslim, christian pagan atheist, this is why there is so much chaos in black African community and the children growing up thinking that's is the right way to be. bible said love thy neighbor as yourself. be humane!!
