Comment: First many thanx to Tony and Maxine of Crossrhythms who can locate out of print classic recordings, kudos! The Peterson Trio come back again but this time as the Peterson Sisters. The first thing you will hear is their voices are a little louder, but still retain the same soft sound as prior recordings. The title song "Hand in Hand" is a fine example of their vocals heard forefront well. Though, "The Old Rugged Cross" probably would have faired better with more softer vocals. "Raised on Lovin' Jesus" reminds me of their first album recordings, short and upbeat. Their cover of Medema's "Lover of the Children" seems to fit perfect with their voices. "Jesus The Sinner's Friend" again brings to mind their first recordings from 1971. There is nothing fancy or stylish about the way the trio sings, but their albums would no doubt be a welcoming into any believer's home. GOD Bless! -Don
