V12

In December 2004 V12 were the very first rock band to play the Cross Rhythms Rock Night under a fresh vision to bring in Christian rock bands that would be particularly accessible for those who aren't Christian.

Although unknown in the area the event marked the beginning of a new approach to engaging with the established city rock scene as 5000 publicity cards were distributed into the regular pub and club scene and local web site (www.stokerockscene.com) and newspaper (The Sentinel) ran features on the visit of the band.

A small crowd of 50 attended but it was a ground breaking night and the beginnings of something to build on. V12 played an excellent set, although they did disband three months later, but that had nothing to do with us!
