Paul Calvert spoke to Tony Samaan from Mr Ok Theatre, a theatre company going into schools and reaching marginalised children in the Palestinian Territories.

Tony: Yes, we have a Facebook page for Mr OK Theatre. All our news and activity is on there, and we are also working on having a website.

Paul: What is it like for you to see a child with a smile on his face from what you are doing?

Tony: When you see a child smile then you feel that there is a meaning for life. We live among difficult situations, and many people want to leave the country. It's easy to think like that, but because I am doing this, it gives me a special meaning for my life. When I see that I can make children's lives better, teach them good things, and give them happiness, that is amazing to feel. It gives meaning to my life and keeps me going in what I do.

Paul: What is your prayer for the theatre and the children in particular?

Tony: For the theatre I pray that God sends more workers that have a heart for the children. We need many workers for a big harvest, we reach many people but it is not enough. Ideally we need people who are full time, to be able to visit schools, it is very difficult for those who have other jobs too. We want to reach many children.
