Jonathan Bellamy spoke with Franz Lippi

This has been having some impact; not as much as we wanted to but - like in one city we busted the drug market. That of course is something that you have to watch all the time. It's that kind of thing. In another case we were praying for months in the family and for the families and in the next year the divorce rate dropped several percent. We saw this in the cities.

After doing that twenty-four hour prayer we are at some point we present these things to the mayor or the head of the city government and usually they are very thankful, very grateful. Now in a few cities we are like the prayer governing group is meeting with the mayor every three months; and the mayor said, these problems in the city I cannot, I have no resolution for this one, can you please pray into this one. Then we start to pray and then usually something happens after two, three or four months of continuous prayer. So those things are not spectacular so to speak but it's really beginning to be a salt of the earth operation on that level. A lot of the prayer that is going on is directed to protect the personal life of the Governor and his family and others. It's very constructive actually. In every hour there is about twenty minutes just praying for personal protection and kingdom and you know well-being and kind of really for the marriages of this couple. The second twenty minutes we pray into the main target that could be you know families, the drug market, media or whatever, whatever plagues the city at this moment. The third twenty minutes we pray into the seven gates of society which are like education, the social system, the police justice system and the media, economics, the churches, the government, education and things like that. So that's the structure. It's happening every hour so there is like a knock on heaven's door for city problems for every single hour, seven days a week, and all year long day and night, it doesn't matter. So that is one of the instruments that have been very effective, to be salt and light into society, so to speak.

It's very important that churches are also really praying into the political situation and especially you know connecting also with political leaders. Even in our case, I am from the city of Graz; we have been praying very specifically so that any plans of the enemy, any plans also of people who are just wanting to do their things for personal gain and you know those special motives; we also pray that those plans will fall to the ground and corruption will be exposed. In the first few years and a lot of things of that kind were coming to the surface and you know wherever there is corruption and things associated with people, it is not good for society. We have been able to cut some of these facts I would say.

Jonathan: Franz I would just like to ask you finally a little bit about your work with young people because I know you spend a lot of your time looking to train and bring forth leaders from among the younger generation. Can you talk about that?

Franz: Yes. There is always a lot of bad talk about the younger generation but you know, my approach, my experience has also been for younger folks they are looking and hungering for something real. They are, in many cases, they are not interested in church, they are interested in God, in just experiencing a real powerful living relationship with the Lord and I found you know they need to see even the supernatural power of the Lord. They want to see the real thing. They don't want to see ritual and smells and bells and all of that, it ticks them off. If the real thing comes to them, then a lot can happen, because most of them, they want to be either hot or cold. They want to be in something that is real. Something where they can say, this is it. So, yes there is a loud impact that the world makes on the youth, but if we give them an example and I would also say good attention and care, that they can see something real, you know. They have a very keen perception of what is real and what is not real and what is fake. They are not interested in things that are not real; but once they are on fire and get into the real thing then things begin to fly. Yes, sometimes they also make fearful mistakes and sometimes they are impossible; but I think that for us, mothers and fathers in the house of the Lord, we're there to be stable and kind of guide them through. Once the young people experience the power of God, there's something that they are usually open to. Can you catch where I am coming from with this?

Jonathan: Yes, definitely. There is that sense of the father son mentoring really isn't it, but wanting to see that younger generation catch hold of something real in God and really go for it.

Franz: Yes and especially they are hungry for something that is powerful; something that has a real punch to it. They don't want to see you talking about healing; they want to see you praying for people. They want to see if something is looming there or not, for example.

Jonathan: Franz, I wonder if you would be happy to end by praying, particularly for that younger generation. I know you talk about wanting to rouse that warrior spirit. We have a lot of young people using our website. It would be great if you wouldn't mind just ending by praying for them.

Franz: OK! I will. Heavenly father, I just bring these young people before you and I just bring an awareness of your love, of the heavenly father's love for every one of those young folk. I just know to bring an awareness of your love and your faith for them. I want to bring that into their spirit and soul. Lord I pray that the awareness of your love and your faith and your faithfulness and your extended hand towards them, reaches out and touches. Lord I pray that many of those young folks have an encounter with the living power of the Lord Jesus Christ. The living power of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I pray that in reality of a personal intimate relationship with the Lord shall break into their awareness. I pray Lord that you raise up men and women who are just so in the Father's care and the Father's faith and the Father's love for the younger generation. I pray that new forms of worship, new forms of intense dedication, and intense communication with the Lord, open up for those young folks.

I also pray that demonic forces that stick to them, hands off the young people. Jesus Christ paid the full price for them on the cross and they have the right to be safe to be coming to a right relationship with heavenly Father. I just bless you young people. If you are out there and you don't really know if there's a God or whatever, let me speak to you; there is an absolute real God and he is absolutely reaching out to you. Just open your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ himself, invite him in, turn over the controls of your life to him. He will come into your heart and he will become a source of life to you. A life that has power and purpose and strength that you will never know - that you will never know without him but you will know within him. I also speak to you - your life is very valuable and it has a God given purpose and a God given plan and I loose it in the name of Jesus that the Holy Spirit uses somebody to come into your life and teach the right thing to you. If you are in drugs, if you are in bondage - the Lord Jesus Christ came to save you from bondage. I speak to you in the name of Jesus, that the power of the Holy Spirit, the power of the risen Lord Jesus Christ, if you call on him he will bring you from that bondage, because this was his very heart why he came. Let me assure you young folks. The love of the heavenly Father, the prayers of the Lord Jesus Christ, the faith of heavenly Father is directed towards you. Open your heart to him. I bless you in the name of Jesus. Amen
