Jonathan Bellamy spoke with Margaret Cornell about the death of her son, experiencing healing and some of her other encounters with Jesus.

We went back to the hotel and I threw off my clothes and had a shower and put some fresh ones on and I'm saying, "Oh, golly Lord, what am I going to preach?" Anyway, instantly God gave me three scriptures and I shouted them through to the bedroom to Tony and said will you look these scriptures up? Anyway he did and that was the sermon that God gave me to preach.

We went out in the big Mercedes to quite a long distance from where we were. We entered this village and everything was black and you couldn't see much except the kerosene lamps flickering outside people's houses. Then we eventually got to the church building where they'd got a clearing outside and there was just one light at one end and a light at the other end. So they introduced me and I took the microphone. Anyway, sadly I was wearing a white dress and insects love to congregate on white material it seems and as I'm taking the microphone and beginning to preach I can feel the insects crawling up my back and I can feel all sorts of uncomfortable feelings and I was having to just completely ignore it. Anyway, after I preached I said, "Anyone who would like to give their lives to Jesus and invite Jesus into their heart, would you come forward?" This whole mob of people came forward and so I said to the pastor, "Do you thing they understood me?" Because I was obviously being translated and he said, "I think so!" So he said, "If you've given your life to Jesus before don't come. Come only if you need to give your life to Jesus now." And they all stayed there! So we prayed. And I've got the most wonderful photograph of these glorious faces of these people standing there inviting Jesus into their lives. I was really blessed because afterwards I discovered they were all Muslims in a Muslim village and it's given me such a heart of love for Muslims to see them saved. I really found over the years that prayer for the Muslim world has been on my heart constantly. It was just a wonderful experience and yes I've preached to 11,000 and preached to 10 people.

Most of our life now is outside of our church that we pastored before. The whole theme of my book is about hearing God and doing what he says. Our passion is to teach people how to hear the voice of God.

Jon: I wonder if you would like to pray for anyone reading this article?

Margaret: Yes. Father, I ask you that you will stir people's hearts to seek you in a way that causes you to become utterly real to them. I pray, Father, that people will have a hunger and a thirst to know you intimately through the power of your Holy Spirit. I pray, Father, for everyone reading this that they will hunger to hear your voice and find out how they can hear your voice and obey what you tell them to do. Father, I pray that people will have the blessed life of obedience and the results of that obedience. A blessed life of the results of sincere heart-felt prayer and the joy of seeing your answers and I thank you Father that you are so faithful to do this in Jesus' name. Amen.
