I have a tendency to feel like there is so much to do and so little time to do it! Every day there is a new campaign to grab my attention saying how important their project is and how it should be priority number one.

Its so hard to not just feel cynical. I've often caught myself saying "WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD I MAKE ANYWAY" and "OH THAT WILL NEVER GET OFF THE GROUND"!

The truth is it is not wrong to be overwhelmed, it is what you do next that makes all the difference!

'I will cry to you when my heart is overwhelmed.' Psalm 61:2

David had such an incredible relationship with God he understood that God was with him through thick and thin. We can learn so much from that sort of relationship.

If you are someone who often feels like you can't make a difference will you cry to God to be the answer and the guidance that you need? He will begin to shape in you a heart that is directed into situations so you can be his hands and feet

'In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we're talking about is Christ's body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn't amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ's body, let's just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren't.' Romans 12:5

Don't be overwhelmed be directed. CR
