Prayer for Madeleine

Prayer request My name is Corné Pretorius and im 30 years old and from South Africa. I have known a lady (Madeleine) since school and was inlove with her since then. After school we lost contact with each other and about 8 months ago we have met again. I immideately liked her again from the start. We got together and got engaged last month. She was married before and she have a little girl. Her husband died when the girl (Liesl) was 9 months old. Since then she had a coupe of relationships but none worked out. She also fell pregnant and had an abortion. She was raped when she was 18 and her parents got divorced that same year. Now she says that she is unsure of our relationship. I have also tried to help her to meet Jesus as her Lord and Savior but she just cant take the step. Will you please pray with me that she accept Jesus into her heart and that she get spirit filled and also for our relationship and that I would be a good and understanding husband to her and also a father to Liesl. Please pray that all the bondages get removed from her life in the name of Jesus. God Bless.

In my church we are all praying for one girl called Laura last year her parents got divorced when they found out her dad was gay. She has not taken it at all well & know is finding it very hard to open up to her friends she has been put on anti-depressants by her doctor and they just make her feel worse. Please pray that all the youth of our church can keep strong for her and keep praying until she can come to terms with the changes in her life.

I Wish to pray for all families whose young people have been encouraged into taking drugs, and causing huge difficulties for their families. My own son (15), a Christian, has gone down this dark road, causing us loads of grief and upsets as he continues on a downward spiral. We need God's strength to see us through this difficult time, and pray that God will shine through this and reveal himself to our son, before he gets into even more harm. He denounced God recently, but we know that God has not finished with him yet, and that all things (however upsetting) have a purpose. I pray that God will shine through all that is going on at present, and that we will all be stronger in faith.

I'd just like to pray for one of my close friend who recently found out his dad's been having an affair for 2 years and has just left home this week to go and live with his mistress. My friend is the same age as me (15) and i've ben trying to help him but it is difficult to relate to his situation as when this happened to me i was only 5 and didn't really kno what was happening. however he is aware of the concequences of his dad's actions and has important decisions to make. I pray he gets through this time and for anyone else who is finding the seperation/divorce of their parents (or other family members) difficult weather it is happenening now or happened years ago as I kno this affects your whole life.

Father, I just pray right now,as vague as it may seem,for all those who don't know You yet,but who want to.Lord, i was once in their shoes,lost and lookin' 4 a way out.Knowin' it was there,but not knowin' how to get to it.Father,You are the God of the impossible,and although we can't understand how it would happen,Lord I know that You have the power to speak to all the hurting souls in the world.And Father I just pray that You speak to them,and that they hear you,either through Your own voice,or through the voice of Yor children.You are the only one who can do it.In Jesus' name,amen.
