The four guys who make up a cappella fellas - note the lack of capital letters -met at Purley Baptist Church in Surrey, and this is their first and possibly last album (hence the title), as one of the quartet is a Baptist minister who's now moved to a church in Cambridgeshire. The nine tracks on offer check in at a tad under 27 minutes, and the overall feel of the album is very reminiscent of The Housemartins, reinforced by the inclusion of the Isley Brothers' classic "Caravan Of Love", which was a big chart hit for them in the 1980s. Adding to the eclectic mix are a couple of traditional songs, two by Graham Kendrick, the old Heartbeat number "Heal Our Nation", The Spice Girls' "Too Much" (I kid you not!), "The Longest Time" by Billy Joel and one original song by Fellas' baritone Simeon Brook. Proceeds from sales go to the Croydon Millennium Project RAW, which aims to use The raw talent of all sorts of people to help the homeless, and if truth be told, this is a bit on the raw side itself, with one or two vocal rough edges here and there. A pleasant listen, although there are much better examples of the genre available.
