This compilation from the Essential Christian label offers up a selection of quality faith-based songs for younger believers, tied together loosely by the theme of inspiring them to be movers and shakers for God. Harvested from the respective artists' own albums, songs by a number of well-known children's ministry names feature here including Doug Horley with his Noah-themed "There's A Rainbow In The Sky", Paul Field ("My Guiding Light") and the genre's elder statesman Ishmael with "Father You Made Us". The compilers have wisely kept the tone of this collection varied with fun moments such as Ben Kinslow's pirate-infused "God's Game Changers" and a genuinely heart-warming and chucklesome version of the old Sunday School song "Jesus Loves Me" - adapted here by Jonathan Rea and performed by New Irish Kids - sitting alongside conventional worship songs like Chris Jackson's "Holy Spirit". Borrowing rather directly from a certain Norman Greenbaum hit, Becky Frith's "Let's Tell The World" helps press home the game changer theme whilst "In My Heart" by Cathy Burton closes this wide-ranging release in poignant fashion.
