So, we made it an evening, bringing a selection of suitably restful, meditative songs to ensure a good kip, assuming your day was spent in righteous Christian pursuits of course. Actually, there's not too much difference moodwise in the three sets, which you can take as a criticism if you like, though the quality is immaculate. There's something special about Bruce Carroll's country-influenced vocalizing and the re-appearance of Kelly Willard gives me two favorite warblers on this album. The Nashville String Machine are ultimate professional expertise on most tracks, including the traditional gems 'Going Home' and 'Lo How A Rose'. This set highlights the fine writing skills of Phill McHugh, also a skilled, sadly underrated performer. My favourite of the trilogy, warm, gentle, late-night, reflective music.
