Reviewed by Tony May Whether listened to as entertainment or a spiritual experience, this tape of Messianic worship packs quite a wallop. There's a fabulous mine of such glorious riches in traditional Jewish music, echoes of a history of sorrow, longing, pleading and pain. Even the triumphant songs here are still rooted musically in that heritage, conveying a range of emotions and moods. The worship is led unobtrusively by Barry and Batya Segal, and three tracks are instrumentals showcasing Paul Heyman's dazzling violin expertise, accompanied by Pam Taylor. The songs, a nice balance of old and new, ascend in full-blooded, outpoured worship that has a touch of genuine holy fire upon it. No overblown, big-budget, glossy hype, or pumped-up cheap thrills here, just transparent adoration of the Highest One. A refreshing, totally absorbing tape. Must get to Yeshua '93.
