This offering is the first volume in a new series of compilation videos featuring an assortment of new and established artists performing in various styles, from country to black gospel, inspirational to rock. Amongst the most impressive items is the country tinged "The Long Arm Of The Lord" by Wayne Watson. This particular song portrayed a cowboy riding from town to town attempting to escape the attention of a man clad all in white mounted on a white horse. No matter which way our hero turns the mysterious 'stranger' (we all know who he is really, don't we?) is always there to confront him. The story ends when the cowboy rides off into the sunset with the ubiquitous horseman. The only negative was the rather disconcerting manner in which Mr Watson tended to leap out unexpectedly in front of the camera to sing snatches of the song. Other items worthy of mention were a very entertaining, light hearted piece called "Say Yes" by New Song and Kenny Marks' "Next Time You See Johnny". The latter was an excellent rock track accompanied by atmospheric black and white images. Finally, I would mention an item called "Can Hell Burn Hot Enough" by Randy Stonehill, a comment concerning the obscene state of the world where the poor starve whilst the rich gorge themselves. The footage showed Mr Stonehill on stage performing the song live, but the powerfully emotive lyrics needed no further visual embellishments as the message was conveyed more than adequately by the artist's passionate performance. A promising series
