The series of Music 2 C (get it? Yawn) videos continue with Pop Vol 2. In a nutshell this is Christian MTV, with six glossy pop videos (or seven if you include the instrumental introduction promoting Word Visual Audio itself, and the fleeting footage of other CCM legends who are no doubt appearing on other Music 2 C videos). Low in subtlety but high in energy (imagine Tina Turner singing with Altered Images), "The B.I.B.L.E." by Bash is still bouncing around my brain, as is "I Blew Up The Clinic Real Good" by equally subtle Steve Taylor. At the mellow end of the spectrum Cindy Morgan questions "How Could I Ask For More?", showing that not all pop songs are the same. There are other contributions from Carman, Trace Balin, Allies and Bryan Duncan. Visually, a lack of funding does not necessarily mean a lack of creativity - but some of the videos here do subscribe to this theory. This is recommended to MTV addicts and Christian bookshops trying to introduce people to CCM.
