Not to be confused with 'The Ladies Of Gospel' compilation on Light (confusion would be understandable as there are some tunes leased from Light here), this features (deep breath) Helen Baylor, the Barratt Sisters, Vickie Winans, Danniebelle Hall, Fulrel, Tramaine Hawkins, Albertina Walker, Shirley Caesar, Witness and the Clark Sisters. Some big names there and indeed there are a few choice moments, like Baylor's near cross over hit "Highly Recommended" and Fulrel's bluesy "Worth The Wait" (hands up all six of you who bought the group's '89 album), but there're too many mediocre songs (Tramaine's "Look At Me" is particularly naff) which together with el-cheapo packaging make it a compilation you could miss without too much problem.
