Follow-up to the recently reviewed CD of '20 Best Loved Hymns Of Wales', presumably these came in placed 21-44, ie, second-best loved. Here's further evidence that the love of the great congregational hymns is still strong and performances are as hearty and as emotional as ever. Obviously a minority taste, but still wonderfully moving to experience. What a shame if hymn singing of depth and richness ever gets over run and forgotten. Here's the great Welsh tradition at its best, superbly recorded. Various choirs and venues including the events at the Albert Hall and the National Stadium Of Wales.
