Very interesting Darren.
I was in high school when Alice was BIG. I was a real screwed up kid. Every day I thought about killing myself. Alice wasn't one of my favorites. I thought he was just an encouragement to my own maddness. I listened to Melanie back then (still do). She sang of love and peace and the search for meaning in life. Her music kept me alive till I found Jesus.
Strange how people change over the years. The Devil (Alice) now loves Jesus and the darling of the peace and love movement (Melanie) is now a self proclaimed pagan. Who'd a guessed?
