I harken to the fact that a reviewers job is to state the obvious without adding personal preference and I belive Megan has acheived such a quality. Her review was spot on and no pretensious gatherings were displayed in my mind. Let's just all sit back with a cup of tea and revel in the thought that a piece of art can be judged for what it is, but yet, can be interpreted in so many ways. Let's not give in to unessarry medalings even though it makes for a fun read. Kudos to Megan for being the voice of sobriety and understanding!

I appreciate the apparent outspokeness of the My Kurious fan base, however I still don't think its enough to discredit Megan Dickeys review of the album. A long time follower of Megan's carrier, I can vouch for her amazing accuracy (as well as honesty) when it comes to her views and opinions of the quality of the albums she reviews. She never discredited MK - just said they needed some work.

I got this CD after hearing about the band at Grapevine and I was disappointed. I have to agree with the reviewer that the singer's voice just doesn't cut it. I worry about the other people commenting here. Perhaps they are all friends or rabid fans of the band and just doing some sort of knee jerk reaction to the honesty of the review. Trust me, the review has got it right!

I think the album is pretty good, the best I have heard for a long while! There is obviously some great individual talent within the group and no doubt this band would be welcome in any establishment. However I don't think Megan Dickey really appreciates good music.

They are a great bunch, they work very hard, and if there had been more money and more spare time the album may have been a bit better, but you cant take it away from these guys there are some brilliant lyrics, i love the way Sarah contrasts to the lead vocals it makes it refreshingly different, and the bass playing is awesome, and Spike is a great guitarist. Well done hurry up with the next one.

Austin, the song you are referring to is called Glorious King funnily enough and is by a young great songwriter from Lincoln called Graeme Clark

The sound of MyKurios is definately a refreshing one. I'm so tired of hearing the same stuff just pushed out CD after CD, by voices that sound exactly the same. What I've heard definately enlightens, as I've listened to it and leaves a person feeling revigoured. Be Blessed.
