EMI fail to distribute latest Tribe album

DESPITE a magnificent launch for the World Wide Message Tribe album 'Heatseeker' at Manchester's Virgin Megastore, complete with Andy Hawthorne preaching the gospel to the packed shop, poor distribution meant that all over Britain punters were going into their local record shop to find the Tribe album not in stock. Special orders ensured that second week sales were better than the first but clearly EMI dropped the distribution ball. CR
