Steven Curtis Chapman receives record number of nominations at 21st Dove Awards

AMERICAN singer Steven Curtis Chapman took 10 nominations for the 21st Annual Dove Awards. This is a record-breaking number outstripping all previous nomination totals. The Awards are due to be presented in Nashville, USA in early April.

Other leading nominees are BeBe and CeCe Winans and Michael W Smith, with six and five nominations respectively. In the album categories, nominees for Contemporary Album Of The Year are BeBe and CeCe Winans' 'Heaven', Margaret Becker's 'Immigrant's Daughter', Steven Curtis Chapman's 'More To This Life', Word's 'Our Hymns' (various artists), Carman's 'Revival In The Land' and Kim Hill's 'Talk About Life'.
