Roots And Branches festival to be launched in the West Midlands

BRITAIN'S first Christian folk roots festival is to be held in October. 'Roots And Branches' will take place from 2:00pm to 11:00pm indoors at Sneyd Community Centre, Willenhall, West Midlands. Artists so far booked for the milestone event include Eden Burning, Nuffsed, Jonathan Day And Eye Of The Storm and poet/singer/songwriter Godfrey Rust. Said organiser Leslie Wilkes, "The roots movement is amongst the most important things happening in Christian music and an indoor event like this with good PA and a comfortable setting is just the kind of showcase this exciting new musical movement needs.
