dc Talk's 'Jesus Freak' to be showcased in new tribute album.

AFTER LENGTHY delays Gotee Records have announced their plans for the forthcoming 'Jesus Freak Tribute Album' where various Christian artists give their interpretations of songs from dc Talk's groundbreaking album of 1995 'Jesus Freak'. Artists to be featured on the project are Relient K, The Showdown, The Gotee Brothers, 4th Avenue Jones, Sarah Kelly, House Of Heroes, Family Force 5, StorySide:B, Liquid w/ Verbs and Fighting Instinct.

The album that changed how we perceive Christian music! JF opened the doors to accepting Punk, Rock, Hip hop as legit forms of musical expression in the Christian community and we shaould be grateful to God for that. Can't wait to hear this.

Probably the greatest Christian album of the last 30 years. Groundbreaking and flawless, I only hope they do a fitting tribute. But with it being done by Gotee that means TobyMac will be all in it and it WILL be right.

The freaked CD is an awesome tribute to the best band of my generation. 10 years later and this CD and their music still touches lives.

I loved StorySideB's version of, "In the Light" I certainly would like to hear more from this band. Most of the versions were fresh and catchy. I could have done without Family Force Five but the rest very good. Overall, I love the CD
