SPECIALIST mainstream label JSP have just released a four CD box set, 'Nuggets Of Gospel 1945-1958'. Compiled by black gospel expert Opel Louis Nations the compilation contains tracks from the Soul Stirrers, the Deep River Boys, the Golden Gate Quartet, the Five Blind Boys Of Alabama, Staple Singers, Mahalia Jackson, the Highway QCs and others.
