Singer Hazel Watson dies from virus

HAZEL WATSON, well known singer on the Midlands gospel scene, died on 25th February. The 29-year-old singer contracted a virus during a recent visit to Turkey and died from total renal failure in intensive care in a Birmingham hospital. Hazel's first single "My Life In Your Hands" is released in April by Sony. Said record producer Kevin Edwards who was working with Hazel for a planned album project, "We are all deeply saddened. Hazel was a lady who not only sang about her faith but lived it to the fullest."
