Ex-Newsboys singer moved to Australia to continue ministry

FORMER LEAD singer of the Newsboys, John James, is now living in Australia. James is no longer performing but is obeying his call to preach the gospel. He told internet magazine The Bzzz, "I have a great passion for sharing what God has done in my life since he took me out of the music industry but as to performing, those days are behind me for now and I have not sung for the last two and a half years...only in the shower! My time is now spent travelling around Australia and New Zealand ministering." In late July John will be returning to the US with his wife and daughter to speak at the huge kingdom bound 2000 festival in New York in August.
