Michael English leaves drug treatment facility; releases new album

POP GOSPEL singer Michael English was released from an inpatient drug treatment facility where he has been battling a prescription-drug addiction in time for the release of his album 'Heaven To Earth' (Curb/Chordant). English entered the programme as he and a female companion were targeted in a criminal investigation for obtaining illegal amounts of prescription drugs. At press time, no charges had been filed. Curb Records is standing behind the singer although Sparrow pulled English's song "Heaven To Earth" from its 'Music From (And Inspired By) Jesus' album. CR

Michael don't worry what people think about you.
Just keep your focus on God and your recovery.
You did the right thing by seeking help in a treatment
center.

I have a son that is addicted to different types of
drugs and has just gotten out of treatment center
and with God's help - he is going to get stronger
everyday. And that is my prayer for you.

You can be a testimony to other people that are on
drugs. That there is a better way of life without
drugs.

Don't let this get you down - let it make you stronger.

God Bless You.
