Huge rise in Christian music CD sales

A SPECTACULAR rise in the sales of Christian music has been reported by America's Recording Industry Association Of America. Its market share of sales of recorded music has risen from 4.5 per cent to 6.3 per cent - a 29 per cent increase. RIAA attributed gospel's growth largely to "crossover" albums such as Kirk Franklin's The Nu Nation Project', dc Talk's 'Supernatural' and Point Of Grace's 'Steady On'. CR
