Texas prog rock band Leeland set to release album

A PROGRESSIVE rock band from Baytown, Texas, Leeland are the latest group to get a big push in the US. Co-produced by Marc Byrd, Matt Bronlewee and Steve Hindalong, the album 'Sound Of Melodies' is being distributed in the UK by Integrity-Provident. Said the band's 17 year old lead singer and guitarist Leeland Mooring, "The heartbeat of 'Sound Of Melodies' is the heartbeat of our ministry. A lot of the songs came out of prayer, so while trying to stay fresh musically, we endeavoured to match the music with an intensity for seeking after God. The main purpose of the album is to inspire those who listen, both young and old, to have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ."
