US hit for the World Wide Message Tribe

MANCHESTER'S sanctified dance band the World Wide Message Tribe have scored a major success in America. In the Christian Hit Radio chart published in CCM Update which indicates airplay on American radio, the group's "I'm On My Way To Zion" has shot to the number one spot. The track is featured on WWMT's second album 'Dance Planet' on N-Soul. A spokesperson for Alliance Music who distribute the album in Europe said, "For a British band to achieve this is unique. For a band who do the vast majority of their work in Manchester schools is mind-boggling."
