Voice FM makes new license bid

VOICE FM are making a fresh attempt to obtain a West Midlands broadcasting licence. Voice FM wrote to the Radio Authority stating that "there are two regional ILR FM frequencies available in the West Midlands" and suggested that two regional licences should be advertised at the same time, as had previously happened in London. Now the Authority have indicated their intention to advertise this new licence, in their press release 50/01, members of the Voice FM team aim to apply for this third West Midlands FM regional licence when it is advertised. CR
