It's strange how many of the dance-orientated albums which once seemed to be pioneering efforts demonstrating the Church's desire to engage with club culture, today seem tired and profoundly cheesey. But just when we thought Christian computer-toting producers endeavouring to make music that was truly an act of worship could go no further than Nitro Praise-style corn, along has come this astonishing album. The DJ/producer has come up with a classic set which is both atmospheric and profoundly satisfying to feet and hearts. 'Exodus' manages to be both a concept album and one which works booming from the nightclub speakers as he weaves elements of progressive house, trance, drum'n'bass and electronica in spectacular soundscapes of the mixer's art.
