Jorge and Leigh Goyco of Antidote have taken Christian music right alongside the underground scene with their debut album 'Fight Or Flight'. The CD is definitely not for anyone who wants simple hooks with a dancefloor beat. This is Christian underground music. The album, with its slow but painless build-ups, vocal samples, and trip-hop style vocals, manages to keep the music focused on the one it was written to glorify. This album is aimed at a niche market but will be received by a large number of Christians who have been waiting for more experimental electronic music which is enhanced by the Holy Spirit rather than drugs. This is an album full of tracks I could see the likes of Camron Dante mixing in with mainstream dance tracks. 'Fight Or Flight' drifts across a large style spectrum pondering between ambient, techno, drum 'n' bass and house. Those with more underground tastes should check this one out.
