This is Georgia-native Bebo Norman's second release on Essential, his third album in total, and it's a competent piece of work without touching the sublime heights of his acoustic-orientated second album. The album consists of a blend of relationship and spiritual songs and is produced by Ed Cash (Caedmon's Call) who has pushed barriers to deliver the creative finish these songs deserve. The more instrumentally-laden tracks "I Am", "You Surround Me" and the memorable title track sit comfortably with the acoustic tenderness of "Perhaps She'll Wait For Me" and Norman's throaty voice oozes warmth throughout. Spontaneous yet tight, simple but profound, there is more to come from this man.
