What a pleasant surprise! In America there's a wealth of alternative bands mostly pushing the boundaries of post grunge rock. In the UK however there are few Christian bands reflecting the arguably more versatile British alternative/indie scene. With their debut EP Blew Room (name taken from Acts 2:2) show signs of changing all that. With a blend of Doors-style keyboards, wah and grunge guitars with pop hook vocals and some catchy rhythms these five guys from North East England should start attracting attention sewn. Well produced at Phil Goss' (As If...) Appletree Studios and with a tight mix and sound lyrics all four songs on this initial EP are of a high standard. My favourite is probably "Native Lands' with its resonant didgeridoo intro. A band that must be worth catching if you see their name around.
