Don't know a thing about this US foursome but on the strength of this release they may get to give up their day jobs sometime in the future. Certainly lead singer Jim Moss has a hauntingly expressive voice, the acoustic guitar driven rhythms are nicely recorded and tightly played and if on one or two numbers the arrangements are a tad skeletal, the songs are strong. Lyrics are of the upfront Jesus variety and at times a little clumsy but the gutsy passion of the band make it an album worth investigating if you're looking for sanctified acoustic rock.
