Confused? Want to be? OK, get this: CUSH IS NOT A BAND. No, honest, it says so on their manifesto. Yes, these guys are serrrrrious people, despite coming from California. They all belong to (ahem) "real" bands in the indie-CCM scene there (including, but not limited to, Adam Again, The Lassie Foundation and Honey). They came up with Cush as a way to get together and do things that don't fit their usual styles or agendas. The music? Well, it's a little more dreamy, a little less raw... a little more openly philosophical in the lyrics than indie usually gets. These guys are letting go and letting God. Hey, read the manifesto.
