David Crowder and band hail from Texas, but two tracks may already be familiar to British audiences. Matt Redman's "Undignified" and Sinnead O'Connor's "Thank You For Hearing Me" which Crowder "Christianises" well by ending with a snatch from the hymn "My Jesus I love you I know thou art mine". There are some great tracks here - notably "God Of Creation", which has a catchy chorus. There's also good use of a variety of instrumentation and a couple of golden moments - one where the drums suddenly stop and you're left with voice and a single picked electric guitar. Gutsy, edgy praise music from a talented musicianary, this deserves wide exposure.
