David acts as producer, engineer, songwriter and vocalist whilst also showing tremendous accomplishment with a selection of musical instruments to indicate a great talent with a fresh vision. The experimental quality of this album is evident in tracks that sometimes combine surprisingly lush orchestral arrangements with dance beats, for example, but each moment of this varied concoction is held together by an excellent production quality as well as a distinctive vocal. This is an ambitious project that stays the right side of self-indulgence but only time will tell as to whether or not Mr Taylor will be staying behind the mixing desk or calling out to the world market with an interesting fact that the album is also available in German, Spanish, French and Italian.
