This is another release of guitar-driven worship songs and the style is all too familiar - despite the majority of the 10 tracks on offer being originals.  Matt Redman's "Let Everything That Has Breath", "Overflow" by Steven Curtis Chapman and Martin Smith's "Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble?" are thrown in for good measure but the contents lack the freshness that is needed to live up to the promise of 'Modern Worship'.  If you were to take this album as a landmark, it would appear that nothing much has changed in the field of worship releases in the last ten years and a lot more imagination and innovation is needed to present worship songs and their invaluable message to the church's up and coming generation.
