Simple, repetitive melodies, a gutsy band with that well-forward bass sound like the old U2 and a raunchy white rock voice. Just when you might dismiss it as cliche it slips under your skin. A debut album, yet Ochoa understands how to craft a song using light and shade drawn out of the instrumentation; full marks for understanding of the pop genre. A complaint - all the credits were so tiny I literally had to use a magnifying glass. The lyrics are the honest comments of a today Christian and it was nice to have them written out. Great driving music!
