Over recent years, there appears to have been a healthy influx of great UK rock bands. With their second release, producer Paul Burton manages to capture and maintain Dust's raw edge, with no evidence of heavy handedness; leaving Marc (guitars/vocals), Josh (bass) and Jimmy (drums) space to express themselves unhindered. Superbly arranged and executed, each of the four songs contained herein demonstrate a more mature band who seem to be going from strength to strength. With their disciplined brand of blues tinged retro hard rock, Dust pull no punches sonically: where the listener is drawn into a powerfully uplifting 'Spirit' is comprised of great art from a promising UK band who deserve to go far.
